乌克兰公司 MacPaw 宣布推出自己的 iOS 应用程序下载商店 Setapp，该商店仅适用于欧盟。根据 DMA（欧盟数字市场法案）的要求，苹果必须允许欧盟 iOS 用户从 2023 年 3 月起支持侧载应用程序。因此第三方 iOS 应用商店迎来了机会。Setapp 并不是新产品，它是 MacPaw 公司于 2017 年发布的基于订阅的 MacOS 和 IOS 应用程序服务，看来现在 MacPaw 基于该服务进行了增强和扩展，使其成为真正的应用程序商店。据悉 Setapp 应用商店预计从 4 月开始可用。兼容的 iOS 17.4 版本可能会在下周发布。
Ukrainian company MacPaw has announced the launch of its own iOS app download store, Setapp, which will be exclusively available in the European Union. As per the requirements of the Digital Markets Act (DMA), Apple is obligated to allow EU iOS users to support side-loading apps starting from March 2023. This has opened up opportunities for third-party iOS app stores. Setapp is not a new product; it is a subscription-based MacOS and iOS app service released by MacPaw in 2017. It appears that MacPaw has enhanced and expanded upon this service to create a true app store. The Setapp app store is expected to be available starting from April. The compatible iOS 17.4 version is likely to be released next week.
