Google plans to restore the functionality of Gemini to generate person images within a few weeks. The feature was recently disabled after generating inaccurate images of historical figures. Demis Hassabis, CEO of Google DeepMind, stated during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona that Google hopes to have this feature of the Gemini chatbot “back online within a few weeks.” Additionally, Hassabis expressed that the actual performance of the Gemini tool did not meet expectations.
