NVIDIA’s co-founder and CEO, Jensen Huang, has stated that AI has formed an entirely new industry. In his remarks on Wednesday, he said, “In just the past year, we saw generative AI truly become a new application domain, a new way of computing…a new industry is forming, and it’s driving our growth.” The company recently announced impressive financial results, with fourth-quarter sales reaching $22.1 billion, and they forecasted current-quarter sales to reach $24 billion, more than triple the figures from the same period last year, surpassing Wall Street’s optimistic expectations. As Huang mentioned, generative AI is fueling a new wave of investment, with the scale reaching trillions of dollars.
