Apple plans to temporarily suspend the sale of Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 smartwatches in the United States. This is because the International Trade Commission (ITC) claims that Apple has infringed upon a patent owned by a company called Masimo when integrating a blood oxygen sensor into their smartwatches. It is reported that the suspension will begin online on December 21st and in Apple retail stores on December 24th.
