Last week, the European Union expressed opposition to Adobe’s acquisition of Figma because it is concerned that the acquisition will hinder market competition. Now, Adobe hopes to promise the European Union that it will not include Figma as part of its Creative Cloud product suite. Adobe will discuss the proposal of excluding Figma from Creative Cloud in Brussels next week and aims to achieve its ultimate goal of acquiring Figma for $20 billion. The European Commission previously believed that Adobe’s acquisition of Figma would reduce competition in the interactive product design software market. Adobe no longer offers its XD tool through Creative Cloud. Creative Cloud is a comprehensive product offered by Adobe that combines various programs with web storage, including applications such as InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Audition.
