At the AWS Reinvent annual conference, Amazon announced the launch of a chatbot called “Amazon Q”. Q is designed to help businesses and their employees better utilize Amazon Web Services (AWS). Q can engage in natural conversations with customers to assist them in understanding AWS features and resolving any issues. It will be integrated into communication tools such as Slack and can also be used directly through the AWS Management Console. Customers can use Amazon Q to build AWS applications, research best practices, modify code, troubleshoot bugs, and receive assistance when developing new features for their applications. Q can also connect to over 40 different enterprise systems such as Microsoft 365, Dropbox, and Salesforce. Users can upload documents and ask questions about their content.
The basic edition of Q is priced at $20 per user per month; the version with additional developer capabilities costs $25 per user per month.
