软餐获悉，谷歌面向 YouTube Premium 订户推出了一个名为 YouTube Playables 的游戏流媒体平台。这似乎在模仿其竞争对手 Netflix 的模式。不同的是，Netflix 游戏允许用户将游戏离线下载到设备上，而 YouTube Playables 只允许联网时访问，好处是无需占用手机存储空间。YouTube Premium 订户可通过 Android 智能手机和桌面浏览器体验访问 YouTube Playables 的游戏库。目前谷歌已添加了 37 款游戏，包括包括《愤怒的小鸟决斗》、《篮球 FRVR》、《脑筋急转弯》、《每日纸牌》、《每日填字游戏》、《8 球经典台球》等，大多是益智类游戏。谷歌计划在 2024 年 3 月 28 日之前全面推出 YouTube Playables。
Google has launched a game streaming platform called YouTube Playables for YouTube Premium subscribers. This seems to be imitating its competitor Netflix’s model. The difference is that Netflix games allow users to download games offline on their devices, while YouTube Playables only allows access when connected to the internet, with the benefit of not occupying phone storage space. YouTube Premium subscribers can access the game library of YouTube Playables through Android smartphones and desktop browsers. Currently, Google has added 37 games, including “Angry Birds Duel,” “Basketball FRVR,” “Riddles,” “Daily Solitaire,” “Daily Crossword Puzzle,” and “8 Ball Classic Pool.” Most of them are puzzle games. Google plans to fully launch YouTube Playables by March 28, 2024.
